Stagecoach Battersea and Balham

The children at the Stagecoach School in Battersea enjoy an extraordinary range of performance opportunities! Micky has five children and in addition to Stagecoach heads up The Wonderland Committee which is an organisation committed to raising funds for Children In Crisis. This charity gives London children the chance to perform in support of children less fortunate than themselves. Stagecoach Battersea has performed 'High Tea & Fashion' at the Dorchester Hotel for a children's charity fashion show. They've also done 'All about Matilda' and 'Winter Wonderland' at theatres in London just to mention a few. We have an exceptional working relationship with The Royal Opera House, and Stagecoach Battersea students are ferquently invited to audition for acting roles in productions. We have a thriving school with a big heart and an exceptional understanding of how the performing arts can play a significant role in our children's lives. We are proud to have been selected to perform as part of the BBC Children In Need Choir at the Natural History Museum in September 2022.

Not sure if you want to commit to the full term?! We offer a two week trial so children and teens can come along and see if they like what's on offer! We charge a deposit, but this is deducted from the full term's fees if you decide to sign up for the term. Give it a go ... dance, act and sing in small, safe classes with big creative dreams!

Love to perform!

We put on performances and presentations with costumes, lights and microphones just as often as we can! If you love to learn songs, dances and scenes, come and see what Stagecoach is all about!

Looking to boost confidence for the new year? Our classes are designed to be fun, creative and a brilliant platform for children and teenagers to be who they want to be. We pride ourselves on a happy, inclusive ethos which gives students an excellent sense of self-belief. Come and try the classes out for two weeks!

New friends; happy times!

Stagecoach offers the chance for children and teens to meet new friends outside of their school environment. With a different dynamic, our young performers gain the courage to be who they want to be. Stagecoach is all about creative courage for life!

LAMDA exams

We offer LAMDA acting examinations to all of our Stagecoach students. Students have a series of private lessons and we then set up a private examination centre at our school. We have outstanding results every year!

Stagecoach Alumni

Stagecoach Performing Arts Battersea was where it all began for a host of wonderfully successful actors! Georgina Castle, Shay Barclay, Charlotte Ritchie & Eve Ponsonby are just a few of the many performers who started their performing arts training at Stagecoach Battersea. We are so proud of them, and all of our past students.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Holiday Workshops

Themed Children's Parties

Birthdays & Celebrations

We understand that with the increasing demands on parents, juggling the pressures of work and family life, time is of the essence. Therefore Stagecoach Parties provide a way to remove the stress from what should be a day of celebration for everyone and allow you to sit back, relax and let us do all the work! Whether they want to be fairies, pirates or detectives, there is a Stagecoach Party for everyone!
