Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Samantha Sullivan

Andy and Sam Sullivan are a husband a wife team.  They have three wonderful children and performing arts is very much apart of family life.  Sam is principal at Basingstoke west and Andy at Basingstoke, however you will meet both principals as they are frequently at both schools.
Samantha has been performing since the age of 3. Back in her home town of Cardiff Sam gained all her major examinations with the ISTD in modern, tap and ballet. She graduated from the Guildford School of Acting with a first class degree in Musical Theatre. After graduating she performed in numerous shows including:  Pirates of Penzance(Kilworth theatre), Dick Whittington (Riverfront theatre),  Thursford Christmas Spectacular (Norwich), The Merry Widow (Holland Park), Variety show (Greenwich theatre), Remembrance Festival (Royal Albert Hall).  Sam slowly moved from performing and started teaching and choreographing in performing arts at the Sylvia young theatre school (summer schools), Hurtwood House (co-created Dance course) and GSA. She is currently short course manager at GSA where she works with students aged 4-25 and directs the GSA singers, a touring cabaret group (performances include: The Olivia awards, Josh Groban in concert and variety shows at Drury lane theatre Royal and London’s Haymarket. Having three children of her own and taught children for many years she is thrilled to be principal at Basingstoke where she can continue to help children grow and develop in performing arts.
