Stagecoach Aylesbury

Stagecoach Aylesbury has been providing quality part-time training in singing, dancing and acting for over 20 years. We are passionate about inspiring young people to be proficient performers and the positive effects that this has upon their development.
Frequent performance opportunities are combined with excellent skills training each term. Many students go on to train and work professionally but far more importantly, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to build confidence and self esteem, and grow as individuals. These are invaluable skills to carry and draw upon for the rest of their lives.
Open every week during term time and workshops during the school holidays, come join the fun!

Rocking the Waterside!

Our Musical Theatre Troupe gave the performance of their lives at the Honeycomb Festival with an AMAZING Queen Medley! Their energy on stage was electrifying and the audience went crazy for it!

Childcare Vouchers

Stagecoach Aylesbury is registered with Ofsted, which means we can accept Childcare Vouchers for our term time classes and our holiday workshops. We hope that this will help many more children access our school.

Youngest Troupe Ever!

The youngest troupe we've ever put on stage at the Waterside, took the Stagecoach Showcase by storm and absolutely blew us away with their energy and pizzazz during their Hairspray performance!

Our Senior Performance Troupe gave the performance of their lives at Her Majesty's Theatre (home of Phantom of the Opera). Lots of hard work during rehearsals, but wow! what an amazing experience for the students!

Safety First!

We're ensuring our school environment is as safe as possible for our students and staff, with student temperatures being taken as they arrive, social distancing in classes, hand washing for all students before/after each class and all rooms being cleaned between each class (throughout Saturday, that's equates to a room being cleaned 8 times!).

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Richard Chatterley

Richard is a passionate believer in the benefits Stagecoach training provides children and is one of our biggest advocates for Creative Courage for Life. Having been plucked from the audience to first appear on stage at the London Palladium in the musical Barnum back in 1982, he went on to tread the boards throughout his formative years and attributes much of his success in adult life to the confidence and skills learnt during this time. For the last 10 years or so, Richard has since enjoyed performing with his trusty guitar at music festivals in the summer months.

Coming from a true Stagecoach family (his wife, Tracey, is Principal of Stagecoach Leighton Buzzard and both children, Nathaniel, 11 and Alexandra, 9, are avid Stagecoach students) he has seen first-hand the positive impact Stagecoach has on children and is proud to be writing the current chapter of the Stagecoach Aylesbury story.
