Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Kelly-Marie Williams

Kelly was the dance teacher/choreographer at Stagecoach Swansea for 10 wonderful years, and the Further Stages director and choreographer for 3 years. Stagecoach Swansea has a very special place in her heart, so she was absolutely delighted when she became the new Principal in September 2022. A new role within her Stagecoach family.

Kelly has been dancing, acting and singing since an early age, and knew she wanted to pursue a career within Musical Theatre when she performed in her first ever musical, The Wizard of Oz in year 4. Attending numerous dance and acting classes growing up, she even started her own dance clubs at secondary school and became the first ever ambassador for the Performing Arts there. In 2009 Kelly went on to gain a place to study for her three year intensive National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy (PPA), in Guildford - and she loved every single second of her intensive training.
Since 2012 Kelly has been working as a professional choreographer, dance teacher and performer all around the world. Choreographing countless full scale musicals both for professionals, amatuer adults and budding youth performers. In amongst all of that she also; from 2013 started as the Main School and Early Stages dance teacher at Swansea Stagecoach, from 2013 - 2015 she was the triple threat Early Stages teacher for Stagecoach Haverfordwest, from 2013 - 2016 she was the dance teacher and manager of InterAct in - The Performing Arts Children’s Charity in Llanelli, from 2015-2016 she got to spend two glorious summers choreographing musicals in Pamplona, Spain, from 2016 - 2018 she was the choreographer for The Barn Theatre in Cirencester, all while still commuting to Swansea to continue to teach dance for Stagecoach, and then in 2019 she took on directing, choreographing and script writing for Further Stages.

Kelly loves being the Principal and is delighted and humbled to continue to work with, guide and plan exciting new opportunities and adventures for her truly amazing students.
