Meet The Team

Principal - Chris Adams & Vice Principal Katie Rowley Jones

Principal Chris Adams, along with his wife, Katie Rowley Jones, have both enjoyed successful careers in Musical Theatre.

Katie, now a fully qualified primary school teacher, had a career in Musical Theatre spanning 20 years. She worked with the likes of Idina Menzel, Whoopi Goldberg and Sheila Hancock, in shows such as Wicked and Sister Act. She has also taught at some of the top drama schools in London, as well as hosting many West End workshops.

Chris, after graduating from Performers College and gaining ISTD & RAD teaching qualifications, has performed in numerous West End musicals, including Footloose and Grease, as well as a commercial dancer with the likes of Steps and Five. His subsequent career as a technical manager for Cameron Macintosh, has seen him work on West End productions such as Billy Elliot, and the 13 time Oliver nominated production of Hamilton.

Chris and Katie are passionate about bringing the Arts to the young lives here at Stagecoach, and through workshops and guest teachers, endeavour to bring the West End a little closer to the Letchworth and Hitchin areas.
