OUR TRAINING
We strive to offer high quality training in all disciplines of singing, dance and drama. Our dance teacher, is a fully qualified dance teacher and is able to offer classes varying in style and technique; Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theatre, Street and even Ballet. We vary the styles each term and we allow the students to create their own choreography. In drama, the students learn through devised work alongside scripted and directed pieces. They explore character work, physicality, speech and accent work and much, much more; all this again to build on confidence and focus. In singing, focus is given to building the child’s confidence to create sound and sing within the group and independently. As this confidence builds, students work towards harmonies and solos. They explore all genres of Musical Theatre and pop and rocks songs. There is also focus on students creating their own work and creating music as a group. Students have the opportunity to sit PAA group musical theatre examinations once a year and solo acting and musical theatre LAMDA lessons and LCM Singing examinations.
