Welcome to Stagecoach Glasgow

Performing Arts School for 4-18 years.
Welcome to Stagecoach Glasgow where we provide quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 4-18yrs.

Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes stretching young imaginations and building confidence.

Our students take part in weekly skill building classes run by professionals from the entertainment industry - actors, directors, dancers, choreographers, singers and musical directors. Students from 6 to 18 years come for three hours per week, students from 4 – 6 years come for one and a half hours per week.

For our more ambitious students there are opportunities to gain professional work in television, film and theatre. Recent professional work gained by Stagecoach Glasgow students includes CBBC’s Eve, feature films Scottish Mussell, Where Do We Go From Here, and Tide.

At Stagecoach Glasgow performing arts school, we have musical theatre and drama academy courses and classes for all children aged 4 to 18. Whether you want to introduce your child to performing arts from a young age, or would just like them to be able to gain some confidence, the Stagecoach classes will suit.

The Early Stages classes for children aged between four and six offer 30 minute sessions each of dance, drama and singing. The children can make new friends and have fun together, while learning some new skills.

The Main School is for children from aged six right up to 18 years old and these classes are designed to help hone skills. Running for three hours a week, the classes are ideal for children who may be thinking about aiming for a career in the performing arts one day.

Basic skills can be honed and children may find that they excel in a particular discipline. They can then specialise in one particular area if they are considering performing professionally.

Of course, our classes are all about having fun so children will enjoy coming, even if they don't want to make a career out of it. The classes will help to boost their confidence and give them a chance to interact with new people.

We also have performances for our students so your children can get involved in these and get a taste of what it's like to be up on the stage. This could be particularly beneficial if they want to work in the industry as it'll give them some experience of the reality of show business.

With professional teachers on hand throughout the classes, you can be sure that your children are getting an all round experience that will prepare them for what's ahead.
