SUMMER TERM 2024

We have very limited trial places available for the Summer term commencing in April 2024. We invite you for a two week trial and experience the huge benefits Stagecoach Didsbury has to offer. We inspire increased confidence and gently build young people up with skills that will benefit them in all walks of life and stay with them for ever.

Manchester Opera House

In May 2022 we were asked to provide a performance choir to join The Barricade Boys in concert. 30 of our students joined the boys onstage at Manchester Opera House and sang their hearts out. What an incredible experience!

TV and Theatre Experience

Students are offered fabulous opportunities to cast for TV programmes, short films and professional theatre shows. Recent performances have included singing with Robbie Williams on tour, students in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Annie, Cbeebies, Operas and Blue Peter.

LAMDA

Stagecoach students are offered the opportunity to take LAMDA exams in selected terms. LAMDA offers the student an individual acting, speech or musical theatre lesson. Our experienced tutors achieve incredible results. We are now set up as a Lamda examination centre so our students can take their exams within school.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Children and young adults will learn new skills, develop increased self confidence giving them a head start in life. Whether our students become professional performers or not, they will gain creative courage that will benefit them in so many wonderful ways. Here at Stagecoach Didsbury, the students will be learning and flourishing whilst having fun and making friends.’
ill encourage risk taking, which will allow students to build courage, creativity and confidence – skills that will empower all young people and support them in their journeys into adulthood.
