Stagecoach Colwyn Bay

Welcome to Stagecoach Colwyn Bay, where we provide quality part-time performing arts training for children and teenagers aged 4 to 18 years.

Our classes take place at St John's Church at Rydal Penrhos School on Saturday mornings during school term time.

Stagecoach Colwyn Bay has been nurturing talent and potential in young people since 2003 and aims to encourage and develop key life skills in all students, such as confidence, creativity, communication and collaboration, whilst also nurturing talent and potenial in the arts.

Our weekly classes in Drama, Dance and Singing are fully inclusive. Each discipline is taught by a specialist teacher who aims to stretch, challenge and support all students individually.

Throughout the Autumn term at Stagecoach Colwyn Bay we focus on repertoire which leads to an informal demonstration of class work and an awards ceremony. The Spring term is our 'in House' term where we focus heavily on skills development, whilst also offering workshops and audition preparation classes ready for our Summer term, which is our show term.

At Stagecoach Colwyn Bay we believe that whatever path our students follow in their life they will always rely on the skills, learning and progress they made at Stagecoach; it doesn't stop when the curtain falls - this is for #creativecourageforlife.

We had a double cast of most roles to showcase the talent we have at Stagecoach Colwyn Bay & wow did our students impress! It was such an amazing experience for everyone involved. Join us & be the first to know what's next!

We've Moved-Rydal Penrhos

We are delighted to announce that our classes will be held at St John's Church, Rydal Penrhos (pwllycrochan road). The church has ample space for our singing, dancing and drama classes, as well as plenty of parking so we are so excited to start our new term here! Enrol now to join us at our new venue. Limited places available.

Matilda Jr 2023!

In 2023 we welcomed so many new students that we ended up with 3 full casts for our summer production of Matilda Jr! That's right 3 of EVERYTHING! To say show day was non stop is an understatement but watching our students thrive and give the performance of their lives makes it more than worth it! Our favourite production to date.

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama.
