Drama, Dance and Singing Classes in Chichester

Welcome to Stagecoach Chichester

A welcoming word from our Principal Stephanie Hicks.
At Stagecoach Chichester we pride ourselves in offering a safe environment where children receive quality training in performing arts using singing, dance and drama. Each term we welcome new students of all ages and abilities. Many children join us with no previous experience and all we ask is that they are enthusiastic, committed and keen to learn. Stagecoach Chichester’s students thrive in an environment where creativity is nurtured and technique and style are developed each week. We teach students to sing, dance and act and watch as they become more confident, poised and self-assured. These skills do not end when the curtain falls, they are skills for life!

A Stagecoach education is very much geared towards confidence building, raising social awareness, having fun and learning all there is to know in order to sing, dance and act to the very best of each individual’s ability. Stagecoach Chichester’s classes are for 4-18 year olds and are held every Saturday, during term time, at Bishop Luffa School in Chichester.

What We Do
Stagecoach Chichester performing arts school offers quality training in the three performing arts disciplines: singing, dancing and drama-helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation-as well as being educational and lots of fun. There is no need to find separate singing, dance and drama classes in Chichester and the surrounding areas, when Stagecoach Chichester offers all three to a high standard under one roof!

For 6-18 year olds, sessions are split into three 1 hour classes in singing, dance and drama (90 minutes for 4-6 year olds). Small classes enable us to nurture young raw talent alongside encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence building.

All of our teachers are DBS checked so children and teenagers can work in a safe and protected environment. It is the combination of the non-teaching Principal, the small class sizes and the immediate access to expert professional advice at any time that sets Stagecoach Chichester apart from many other organisations working with children.

Fees work out at £9.00 per hour, which offers outstanding value for money for quality performing arts training, small class sizes, exams, medals, performances, magazine subscription and optional representation by The Stagecoach Agency which secures professional work for hundreds of children across the country.

Running concurrently with the academic year, our Saturday schools run for 12 consecutive weeks each term with students following a varied and carefully selected syllabus covering the three areas of singing, dancing and drama. Stagecoach Chichester takes place at Bishop Luffa School in Chichester. There is ample free parking at the school and it is only a short walk to Chichester’s vibrant city centre with its beautiful Cathedral and plentiful shops and cafes.
