Stagecoach Cheshunt

We provide part time drama classes on Saturdays in Cheshunt where children learn how to sing, act, dance and perform.

Principal Hayley is a trained actress with lots of professional experience and a BA Hons Degree in Drama with Dance as well as an ADPA in MT teaching. As a young teenager, Hayley actually attended Stagecoach herself before going on to get full training in the arts. After she finished University, Hayley returned to Stagecoach Potters Bar to teach drama. Whilst there she directed many shows including, Little Shop of Horrors, Stagecoach High the Musical,Cutloose, Oz, Disney Magic, Annie, Hairspray, Into The Woods and many more. Principal Hayley also likes to give her school great opportunities and takes a group of her students to perform in London at Her Majesty’s Theatre or the Shaftesbury Theatre every year. Stagecoach Cheshunt are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Team

Principal - Hayley Evans - BA (Hons) in Drama with Dance and ADPA (Associate Diploma in Performing Arts)

Hayley Evans is a trained actress with lots of professional experience and a BA Hons Degree in Drama with Dance. As a young teenager, Hayley actually attended Stagecoach Potters Bar herself before going on to get full training in the arts. After she finished University, Hayley returned to Stagecoach Potters Bar to teach drama (which she did for 5 years) alongside pursuing a professional acting and modelling career. Hayley has professional experience in many areas of the performing arts including; TV, Film, Music Videos, Corporate Videos, Musical Theatre, Straight Plays, Voice Over, Radio, Pantomime-Style Performing, Directing, Choreography and Modelling.

Hayley also went on to get qualified in teaching performing arts and passed with distinction in her ADPA exam, giving her an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts.

Her TV and Film credits currently include: 'Breathless' - TV medical drama series for ITV, 'Mad Fat Diary - Series 2' (aired on Channel 4), 'The Invisible Woman' - film with BBC Drama/Headline Pictures, 'Restless' - TV drama (aired on BBC 1) with BBC Drama/Romer Films Ltd, 'The Midnight Beast' - TV series (aired on E4) with Warp Films/Cuba Comedy, 'It's a Dog's Life' with Virgin Media Shorts, 'Natural Beauty: Keeping it Real' - TV programme (aired on T4, channel 4) with Raw Television, 'Good Day today' music video with Shimmer Films, as well as corporate videos for Messy Knot Entertainment.

Her theatre and performing credits include: Charity in Sweet Charity, Ruth in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Young Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd (the Demon Barber of Fleet Street), a dancer in Jesus Christ Superstar, a dancer in South Pacific, Helena in All's Well That Ends Well, Virgilia in Coriolanus, Anne Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, a dancer in the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, a performer at Tick Tock Music Ltd and a variety singer in Food of Love and Across the Pond.
