Stagecoach Stafford and Stone

Stagecoach Stafford offers a fun and safe environment where your child can learn core life skills whilst practising Dance, Drama and Singing. In our engaging weekly classes, we aim to inspire your child, help to build their confidence and learn all about the performing arts. 
Our teachers and students work in an atmosphere that is fun, supportive and inspiring. We have been involved in countless performances over the years with highlights being our recent performances at The Adelphi Theatre and Her Majesty's in London, Alton Towers and more locally in our Mega Variety show at the Stafford Gatehouse. 
Our Glee Club and Dance Troupes are performing all over the country in 2020 and we are also off to Disneyland Paris to perform. We can't wait and we also can't wait to invite you to our fantastic school designed to develop confidence, skills and creative courage for life.

Events 2020

We have lots of events coming up over the next three terms which our Stagecoach students are really excited to be taking part in including: At the Stafford Gatehouse in February, Her Majesty's Theatre in London in April, Alton Towers in June and at the Birmingham Symphony Hall in July.

Come to Disney Land Paris

As a Stagecoach student you can join us for a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform at Disney Land, Paris in July 2020 We embark for a four day trip, dancing in the Pre-Parade, singing outside the castle, taking part in workshops, a gala evening with Disney characters not to mention all the rides and studio visits you can manage.

Childcare Vouchers

We now accept childcare vouchers at Stagecoach Stafford and Stone. So, if you are thinking of signing your child up for a two week trial with us - that's six hours of performing arts to test the water - taking advantage of our wonderful and educational holiday workshops or you just know Stagecoach is for your child, you're sure to be in safe hands.

Easter Holiday workshop

Enrol now for our fantastic Easter holiday workshop at Walton High School in Stafford. Click Holiday Workshops at the top of the page to join us for a wonderful week of Musical Theatre masterclasses ending with a performance each day for friends and family on the Friday.

LAMDA coaching

We offer our students the chance to work towards LAMDA exams with our specialist LAMDA coach, Ellen. Working alongside our regular classes students are able to receive one to one coaching towards these prestige exams which can also earn students UCAS (Universtity and Colleges Admissions Service) points for applications to higher education.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Team

Principal - Simon Eastwood - LLB (Hons)

Simon has been Principal of Stagecoach Stafford and Stone since 1998. He was previously a professional actor and freelance dramatist for BBC radio 3, 4 and 5 and now, alongside his work running Stagecoach, he works as a corporate trainer in public speaking and leadership.
Drama and the performing arts really are his passion and he is extremely proud of the fantastic work our teachers and students put in every week, in an atmosphere that is fun, supportive and very positive. Stagecoach Stafford & Stone have been involved in countless performances over the years.
