Welcome to Stagecoach Sittingbourne! We inspire confidence and nurture the creative talents of children aged 4–18 through acting, singing, and dance. Students enjoy weekly classes, end-of-term performances, regional showcases, West End opportunities, and Stagecoach Disney Dance the Dream in Paris. We also support performing arts certifications and professional aspirations, helping many alumni pursue careers in the industry.

Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Main Stages classes are split in three age-appropriate groups, where children develop skills in the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. These confidence-boosting classes see children build key life skills we call Creative Courage for Life®.

Holiday Workshops

  • Summer Workshop

    Tunstall C of E Primary School

    Join us for our Musical Theatre Summer Workshop for children aged 6 -12 years holding Monday, July 27th to Thursday July 30th, 9am to 4pm. Early drop off from 8:30am available.
    You do not have to be a current student to attend, our workshops are open to all.
    Tax-Free Childcare payments and Childcare Vouchers accepted.

Meet our Principal

Principal – Adekemi Opoola. My background is in the medical field, but my passion has always been improving wellbeing. I believe the foundations of a wholesome individual are set in childhood. Moving into performing arts allows me to nurture imagination, creativity, and confidence while fostering character, friendship, and social growth. With a team of qualified professionals, I aim to make a real difference. Come with me and let’s make a difference!

The Teachers

  • Ysabell Livings

    Teacher

    Ysabell is a “triple threat” performer with a First Class BA (Hons) in Performing Arts. Experienced in acting, singing, dancing, teaching, and stage management, she’s best known for playing Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. Ysabell began teaching in 2014 and was recently Assistant Choreographer for Beauty and the Beast. Her motto, “Have Courage and Be Kind,” guides her work, supporting young performers’ confidence and wellbeing.

  • Sharifa Marshall

    Teacher

    Sharifa is a dynamic singer-songwriter, actress, and children’s book author. Raised in a musical family and with over 20 years experience she performed on shows like Top of the Pops, Star for a Night, and the Eurovision Song Contest, later launching her music career through her own production company. Passionate about youth empowerment, Sharifa continues to use the arts as a powerful tool to inspire and nurture young minds toward their fullest potential.

  • Emma Coulthard

    Teacher

    Emma is a keen performer who loves the excitement and joy of the theatre, holding a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Drama. Since university, Emma has been taking supporting artist roles in some major films, such as Mary Poppins Returns and Bohemian Rhapsody. Her passion, however, is in live theatre and instilling a love of performing and being part of a team in a new generation of actors and performers. With her teaching, she hopes that the children will be able to increase their confidence and understanding.

  • Khamani-Jerimiah Simpson

    Teacher

    Khamani-Jerimiah is a passionate musical theatre performer and teacher, with distinctions in all LAMDA Musical Theatre grades and experience in youth productions including Bugsy Malone and Hairspray. He’s worked with British Youth Music Theatre and brings warmth, encouragement, and enthusiasm to the classroom, helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and self-belief. Khamani is thrilled to inspire young performers at Stagecoach Sittingbourne.
