At Stagecoach Northampton, we offer a rounded performing arts education for ages 4+. Through singing, acting and dance, children build confidence, stretch their imagination and develop key life skills. Taught by professional performers, our fun, relaxed classes nurture creativity, communication, and technique while helping every child grow in confidence and shine.

Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Weekly Classes

Main Stages

(6 – 18 year-olds)

Main Stages classes are split in three age-appropriate groups, where children develop skills in the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. These confidence-boosting classes see children build key life skills we call Creative Courage for Life®.

Weekly Classes

Further Stages

(15+ year-olds)

Our Further Stages give older students the chance to extend their performance skills. Through in-depth training, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting. We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Weekly Classes

Adult Classes

Adult Classes offer a welcoming and encouraging space to explore the three core performing arts disciplines of singing, dancing and acting. With no experience required, these sessions are ideal for building confidence, learning new skills and connecting with others in a fun, supportive environment.

Meet our Principal

Karl started his career as a professional child actor in film and theatre. He appeared in classic favorites such as Oliver with George. C. Scott, and toured national theatres playing Michael in Peter Pan. He then went on to do voice over and extra work as an adult appearing in Footballers Wives, Drummonds, Master of the Game and many more. Having attended a local stage school himself when he was young, he now hopes to inspire confidence and communication skills through the performing arts.
