Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Main Stages classes are split in three age-appropriate groups, where children develop skills in the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. These confidence-boosting classes see children build key life skills we call Creative Courage for Life®.

Meet our Principal

Charlie trained at East 15 Acting School and worked professionally in theatre and film, including with the New Wolsey Theatre and Funicular Productions. With years of experience teaching in schools and SEN settings, he’s passionate about helping young people grow in confidence through the arts. As Principal, he brings energy, empathy, and expertise to a school where every child is empowered to thrive.

  • Robyn Thorpe

    Manager

    Robyn is a drama teacher with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Performing Arts and a career spanning immersive theatre, screen acting, and talent management. She’s performed in award-winning shows like The Murdér Express and worked as a talent agent and celebrity liaison. Robyn is passionate about helping young people express themselves, build confidence, and discover their creative voice through the power of performance.

  • Maddie Bailey

    Singing Teacher

    Maddie is a jazz-trained vocalist and graduate of the University of Chichester Conservatoire. She performs widely, including with vintage swing duo The Robinettes, and brings over five years’ experience teaching music to all ages. Passionate about helping students grow in confidence and creativity, Maddie creates a fun, supportive space where young singers feel empowered to explore their voices and shine.

  • Henry Everett

    Drama Teacher

    Henry is a professional actor with 21 years’ experience and has taught drama for 20. He’s performed at the National Theatre, the Globe, Bristol Old Vic, Bath Theatre Royal, and many others across the UK. On screen, he’s appeared in soaps and period dramas. As a teacher, he’s worked with Stagecoach, Pineapple Performing Arts, Laine Theatre Arts, Allsorts Drama, and more. He also runs his own theatre company, blending his love of performance and teaching to inspire the next generation.

  • Tailor Cowlishaw

    Dance Teacher

    Tailor has been dancing from young age with expertise ranging from Tap to Street Dance. She trained in dance at college and education at University and has competed at a high level including at the UDO World Championships. Taylor has taught children aged 9 months to 18 years in a range of settings, including running her own dance school. She’s passionate about helping young people build confidence and creativity and is excited to bring her energy to Stagecoach.
