Stagecoach Braintree
Welcome to Stagecoach Braintree! Our aim is to nurture children aged 4–18 through singing, acting, and dance. Our classes build confidence, creativity, and self-esteem while having fun. Students make new friends and perform at Braintree Arts Theatre, whether new to performing or experienced. Stagecoach offers every child the chance to explore theatre and develop their potential in a supportive, inspiring environment.

Laura May
Singing and Early Stages
Laura May has been performing since age 3 and singing professionally for 5 years. She trained in Musical Theatre at Italia Conti and earned a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship at Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Alongside teaching at Stagecoach, Laura records radio jingles, sharing her passion for music and performance with her students.

Joshua Pearson
Dance
Joshua graduated from Performers College in 2014 and has extensive experience in musical theatre and cruise ship productions, including Hairspray, Club Tropicana, Snow White, and Dick Whittington. He has also toured the UK and performed in lead and ensemble roles, including Dance Captain and Lead Vocalist. Joshua is thrilled to bring his passion and experience to Stagecoach Braintree.

Lilly Defrates
Drama
Lilly Graduated from Emil Dale Academy in 2020 BA (Hons) Musical Theatre First Class Honours. Lilly has 5 years of teaching experience across all three disciplines. Lilly has experience teaching all age groups from children all the way to adults. Lilly is excited to bring her passion to her fantastic students at Stagecoach Braintree.
