Braintree Goes Virtual

We are still running our Spring Term 2021 classes. The classes will be in a LIVE interactive environment that your child can take part in from home. We have adapted our 'in-venue' classes to work in an engaging online Zoom environment keeping it fun! Once we are able to return to the venue, the classes will be resuming as normal.

Summer Workshop Success!

At last we were to be able to offer some ‘live theatre’ experience to our students. Our fabulous Summer Workshop, 'A Wizz Around The West End' took place at Braintree Arts Theatre in a socially distanced manner at the end of Aug. Very kindly Boris Johnson allowed us to perform to an audience and after a week's fun rehearsal what a show it was!

Hitting The West End...

We did it...Stagecoach Braintree made it to the West End... We are delighted to announce that our 'Nationals' Troupe were invited to perform in the Stagecoach Showcase at the incredible Adelphi Theatre in London's West End. What a night it was as our team 'Wowed' the judges with our version of Beauty & The Beast in seven minutes.

Trinity, Stagecoach's independent assessors, recently visited our school and we are delighted to say our school was given an 'Exemplary Award'. They commented that our school is "well run, motivational and fun", and our teachers are "a credit to the school" also our "students make excellent progress in all areas" - What a great accolade!

'MATILDA' Summer Workshop

Last year's 5 day Summer Workshop saw a bunch of our students tackle the amazing Roald Dahl musical 'Matilda'. We had great fun performing to packed houses in Braintree Arts Theatre, even though we had a bunch of 'Revolting Children' - This Year's Workshop to be announce soon....

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.
