Welcome to Stagecoach Altrincham! Our fun, high-energy classes in singing, acting, and dance help 4–18s build confidence, creativity, and friendships. Students rotate through all three disciplines in supportive sessions that grow skills and self-belief. We also offer LCM exams and exciting holiday workshops. Whether performing on stage or just having fun, every child can shine at Stagecoach. Come join the adventure!

Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Main Stages classes are split in three age-appropriate groups, where children develop skills in the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. These confidence-boosting classes see children build key life skills we call Creative Courage for Life®.

    Bowdon Church School

    After a few years away, we’re thrilled to announce the return of our hugely popular Summer Workshop! Running from 11th-15th August, this five-day experience is open to children and young people aged 5-18 of all abilities. This year’s workshop will be inspired by the magical world of The Wizard of Oz. Over the course of the week, students will enjoy a fun, creative and high-energy environment as they work together …

Meet the team

Meet our Principal

Georgia began her Stagecoach journey as a student at age four, later becoming a teacher and now Principal at Altrincham. She holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance from the University of Leeds and has experience in acting, directing, and theatre-making. Passionate about musical theatre and the power of arts education, Georgia is committed to nurturing confidence, creativity, and joy in every student she teaches.

The Teachers

  • Charlotte Stocks

    Dance, Early Stages

    Charlotte began dancing at age 2 in Retford and quickly discovered a love for… teaching, assisting classes for students aged 3–16. She trained at The Hammond School, earning a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance and distinctions in Advanced RAD and ISTD exams. Passionate about Jazz, Tap, and Ballet, Charlotte has also developed her skills in acting and singing, and now works as a triple-threat performer while sharing her love for the arts through teaching.

  • Kirsty Jay Allen

    Dance, early stages

    Kirsty recently graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre from the University… of Central Lancashire. She made her professional debut in Jerry Springer the Opera at Hope Mill Theatre, following a recent role in CATS at Altrincham Garrick. Musical Theatre is Kirsty’s greatest passion, and she is excited to share her energy and love for performance with Stagecoach Early Stages students this term.

  • Robert Beckett

    Drama

    Rob trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and holds a PGCE from Lancaster University…. With 30+ years in the industry, he’s worked as an actor in BBC and Channel 4 dramas, a voice-over artist, and a director. Rob has taught for over 20 years at Stagecoach and trained students who’ve gone on to star in West End, TV, and film. He is passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and creativity through the performing arts.

  • Lauren Quinn

    Dance, Early Stages

    Lauren joined Stagecoach Altrincham as Dance Teacher in 2015 and quickly proved her passion… and talent. She holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Contemporary Theatre and Performance and gained her Level 4 ADPA with Stagecoach. With experience choreographing, directing, and running workshops, Lauren brings energy, skill, and a love for Musical Theatre to every class—building confidence, technique, and joy through movement and performance.

  • David Goulden

    Singing

    David trained at the Royal Academy of Music and holds multiple top-level singing and… piano qualifications, including an FLCM and LRAM. As a performer, he has sung leading roles in opera and musical theatre with companies such as Welsh National Opera and European Touring Opera. A Stagecoach teacher since 1995, David has trained many students who’ve gone on to the West End and major opera houses, inspiring excellence through every lesson.
