Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Main Stages classes are split in three age-appropriate groups, where children develop skills in the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. These confidence-boosting classes see children build key life skills we call Creative Courage for Life®.

Meet our Principal

Maisie discovered her passion for performing as a Stagecoach student, initially joining to build confidence. She now regularly performs with ESNA and The Festival Players. A qualified teacher with broad experience in various educational settings, Maisie is dedicated to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can grow in confidence and creativity.

The Teachers

  • Beth York

    Singing Teacher

    Beth is a Musical Theatre performer who trained at Italia Conti and Leeds Conservatoire, graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. She has performed for His Majesty The King and at the Royal Albert Hall. With several years of teaching experience, Beth is passionate about building confidence through engaging, supportive and exciting singing lessons. She aims to empower every child to feel confident and proud of their voice.

  • Matthew Ormerod

    Drama Teacher

    Matthew is a drama teacher with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts and over a decade of experience in Special Education. He has led drama curricula, produced school performances, and tutored students for exams. He is passionate about how the arts support both personal and academic growth. At Stagecoach, he inspires students to develop confidence and creativity through performance.

  • Molly Elliott

    Dance Teacher

    Molly is a fully trained performer, with a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. She is known for her high energy, encouraging teaching style, and her ability to bring out the best in every child. Molly is passionate about helping children grow in confidence while developing their dance and performance skills, and making sure they have fun too!

  • Taylor Leak

    Early Stages

    Taylor is a trained dancer and performer with experience in Tap, Ballet, Modern Jazz, and a degree in Acting; Creative Performance Practice. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Sadler’s Wells, and on screen in music videos and TV. She is passionate about helping students express themselves freely. At Stagecoach, she brings energy, creativity, and a love of choreography to every class.
