Welcome to Stagecoach Altrincham! Our fun, high-energy classes in singing, acting, and dance help 4–18s build confidence, creativity, and friendships. Students rotate through all three disciplines in supportive sessions that grow skills and self-belief. We also offer LCM exams and exciting holiday workshops. Whether performing on stage or just having fun, every child can shine at Stagecoach. Come join the adventure!

Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Main Stages classes are split in three age-appropriate groups, where children develop skills in the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. These confidence-boosting classes see children build key life skills we call Creative Courage for Life®.

Holiday Workshops

  • A Show In A Week

    Bowdon Church School

    Join us this summer for “A Show in a Week”, an exciting theatre workshop for ages 5–18! Students will spend Monday to Friday rehearsing and creating a show together, before performing for friends and family at 4PM on Friday. Participants will be grouped by age and no previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm and imagination!

Meet the team

Meet our Principal

Georgia began her Stagecoach journey as a student at age four, later becoming a teacher and now Principal at Altrincham. She holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance from the University of Leeds and has experience in acting, directing, and theatre-making. Passionate about musical theatre and the power of arts education, Georgia is committed to nurturing confidence, creativity, and joy in every student she teaches.

The Teachers

  • Lydia Bullock

    Afternoon Dance, Early Stages

    Lydia has recently joined stagecoach Altrincham as a dance and early stages teacher. She holds a first class BA (Hons) degree in musical theatre and earned a distinction in her postgraduate diploma in further education (teaching and skills) specialising in Performing Arts. Lydia has experience as a performer, choreographer and teacher. She is excited to share her passion for Musical Theatre, helping students to develop their confidence, creativity and self-expression.

  • Robert Beckett

    Drama

    Rob trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and holds a PGCE from Lancaster University. With 30+ years in the industry, he’s worked as an actor in BBC and Channel 4 dramas, a voice-over artist, and a director. Rob has taught for over 20 years at Stagecoach and trained students who’ve gone on to star in West End, TV, and film. He is passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and creativity through the performing arts.

  • Lauren Quinn

    Morning Dance, Early Stages

    Lauren joined Stagecoach Altrincham as Dance Teacher in 2015 and quickly proved her passion and talent. She holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Contemporary Theatre and Performance and gained her Level 4 ADPA with Stagecoach. With experience choreographing, directing, and running workshops, Lauren brings energy, skill, and a love for Musical Theatre to every class—building confidence, technique, and joy through movement and performance.

  • David Goulden

    Singing

    David trained at the Royal Academy of Music and holds multiple top-level singing and piano qualifications, including an FLCM and LRAM. As a performer, he has sung leading roles in opera and musical theatre with companies such as Welsh National Opera and European Touring Opera. A Stagecoach teacher since 1995, David has trained many students who’ve gone on to the West End and major opera houses, inspiring excellence through every lesson.
