Stagecoach Northampton
At Stagecoach Northampton, we offer a rounded performing arts education for ages 4+. Through Singing, Acting and Dance, children build confidence, stretch their imagination and develop key life skills. Taught by professional performers, our fun, relaxed classes nurture creativity, communication, and technique while helping every child grow in confidence and life skills.
Our Further Stages class prepares future performers for life at Musical Theatre Universities and beyond.

Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Main Stages classes are split in three age-appropriate groups, where children develop skills in the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama. These confidence-boosting classes see children build key life skills we call Creative Courage for Life®.

Further Stages

Our Further Stages give older students the chance to extend their performance skills. Through in-depth training, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting. We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet the team
Meet our Principal
Karl started his career as a professional child actor in film and theatre. He appeared in classic favourites such as Oliver with George. C. Scott, and toured national theatres playing Michael in Peter Pan. He then went on to do voice over and extra work as an adult appearing in Footballers Wives, Drummonds, Master of the Game and many more. Having attended a local stage school himself when he was young, he now hopes to inspire confidence and communication skills through the performing arts.

Emma Festa
Manager – Drama, Dance, Early Stages, Further Stages
Emma trained at Performers College (2003–2006), gaining I.S.T.D teaching qualifications and a Higher National Diploma in Dance & Musical Theatre. She performed in cabarets at prestigious London venues including the Grosvenor, Dorchester, and Bloomsbury Theatre, as well as on Top of the Pops. Since 2008, Emma has been a valued part of Stagecoach Northampton, loving every Friday and Saturday with her students.

Katie Bunting
Early Stages
Katie trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, specialising in writing and directing theatre. She has directed musicals and operas, performed as a classically trained singer, and worked with Creative Learning departments at the Barbican, Globe, and Royal & Derngate. With years of experience in youth theatre festivals, and now a new Mum, Katie is excited to inspire young performers at Stagecoach Northampton.

Sarah Jane Earl
Dance
Sarah-Jane began dancing at three, training in ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, singing and drama. A Trinity Laban graduate with a BA (Hons) and a Masters in Dance Performance, she has performed across theatre, TV and film, and toured the UK and Europe with Map Dance Company. Having worked with acclaimed choreographers and taught extensively in schools and youth groups, we are delighted to have her as one of our dance teachers!

Lucia Lawrence
Dance
Lucia graduated from Addict Dance Academy in 2023 with a First Class BA (Hons). Trained in Jazz, Commercial, Ballet, Tap, Latin and Contemporary, as well as singing and acting, she has performed at Disneyland Paris, His Majesty’s Theatre and The Royal Albert Hall. Having worked with top industry choreographers, Lucia is passionate about helping every dancer grow in confidence, develop their skills and most importantly, enjoy themselves!

Olivia Mann
Drama, Singing
Olivia graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting from LIPA in 2017 and has since performed in London, Liverpool and Manchester, as well as recording a musical online. As a child, she trained at a local theatre school and performed professionally in Oklahoma! and Guys and Dolls at Kilworth House Theatre. Olivia loves teaching all aspects of performing arts, helping students build skills, confidence, and most importantly, have fun!
