You may have noticed that we've been a little bit excited about our Summer Showcase this year! If you haven't heard, our international cast of 80 students from the UK, Germany, Gibraltar, Malta and Spain came together to perform 3 professional West-End style performances at the Artsdepot last week.

This year we have had the highest volume of international students taking part than ever before. Students came from all over Europe to participate in the show and be in the UK for the two-week residency. The students were so excited to fly in for the residency in Twickenham after sending in video auditions earlier in the year or the auditions and the casting process.
Matt Clark said "We're delighted to have so many students coming from our international schools and to be working with such a diverse cast".

Gary Jerry, previously a Stagecoach student himself, directed the production of Hairspray alongside his team of professionals including Daniel Todd choreographing and Matt Abrams as the Musical Director. The team were so proud of not only the end result of the professional-styled performances, but of all of the hard work the students put into the two-weeks.

The team at Stagecoach Head Office were treated to see the Open Dress rehearsal at the venue and it did not disappoint!

"I was so excited to go and see the students perform Hairspray! The standard was so high, it was hard to believe that it wasn't a West-End production. The students were so professional and gave a flawlessly energetic performance. I can't wait to see what next years will be!"
Hayley, the Marketing team.
