Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Principal - Rick Hyland - BA Hons Acting

Following on from a degree in Acting at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds, Rick worked as a professional actor. His credits include national tours and several short films, but perhaps most notably he performed in the inaugural performance at the opening of the Carriageworks Theatre in Millennium Square, Leeds. Rick has more than 10 years experience of leading acting workshops for young people. Confidence and team building have always been central in Rick's teaching ethos and he has seen first hand the positive effects that the creative arts can have on young children. It is for these reasons he is passionate about giving young people every possible opportunity to develop as individuals and gain those valuable skills early on in their lives.
