Meet The Team

Principal - Heidi Rees

Heidi has always been a “dancing, before she could walk” and “singing, before she could talk” kind of girl. This passion and desire for Performing Arts secured her a place into the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts London, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Acting.

Throughout her professional career she has fulfilled a variety of jobs in many London venues in a wide variety of theatrical genres from Shakespeare plays to pantomime. Her favourite job in the past, was working as an actress for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Wales comedy productions and Women’s Hour Dramas. However becoming her childhood idols Minnie/Mickey Mouse and Alice in Wonderland in Disneyland Paris comes as a close second.

Her passion for directing and theatre has driven her to understand teaching and its methods in greater depth. She has a GTP and a PGCE in Higher Education that means she is qualified to teach Drama to all ages and enjoys the challenge of individualising teaching towards each student. She has worked for Stagecoach intermittently as a Drama teacher since 2009, however motherhood has caused the greatest sabbatical.

Now after spending 4 years at home with her two young boys, Heidi has decided to find a career which allows her to fulfil all her ‘loves’ as Stagecoach Principal.

Heidi is more than excited to make each of her Stagecoach schools, each pupil and each day a happy and successful one.
