Stagecoach Students at Disney Behind The Magic 2020

Stagecoach students have just returned from an action-packed weekend at Behind The Magic in Disneyland Paris

The unique Behind The Magic programme is designed to give each student an exciting and educationally valuable glimpse into Disney's world of professional entertainment.

The packed trip is directly linked to the Stagecoach educational framework, and links into Key Stage 4, A level and BTEC Performing Arts Courses.

Tyler from Stagecoach Trowbridge said; “I’m expecting it to be quite full-on, but that's what we’re here for, to get the experience as if we are a part of all this.”

Students attend multiple work sessions with Disney professionals, encompassing singing, dancing and acting, audition skills and stage performance. All of which develop a students' confidence in their ability to work, learn and achieve their full potential.

"We had a vocal and recording session with the two songs for the performance. It was really nice to get the harmonies out of everyone and to work with the professionals on our techniques" said Meryem from Stagecoach Barnstable.

Spencer from Stagecoach Worthing highlighted that working with the industry professionals to learn what goes on behind the scenes to make performances at Disney happen, and having the opportunity to learn all that knowledge is the perfect stepping stone for the future.

There is also the exclusive opportunity to interact with Disney show directors and artists in a Disney Performing Arts Q&A session. “It’s not every day you’re in Disneyland, when you’re here it’s a magical feeling, and then to be behind it is even better because you are meeting the people who create the magic themselves,” says Adam from Stagecoach Altrincham

You can register to audition for Behind The Magic 2021 here until 12.02.2020.
Auditions are open to all students 14 plus and past students up to the age of 21.
