Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Adult Stages (for ages 18+ yrs)

Adult Classes

Develop your skills in the three core performing arts disciplines of singing, dancing and acting with our Adult Classes. Whether you have previous experience in the performing arts or you’re a complete beginner, you’ll be able to learn something new and explore musical theatre skills in a friendly, fun and safe environment.

Meet The Team

Principal - Wendy Murray - ANEA, LGSM (Act)

Wendy is now in her 15th year of being Principal at Tonbridge. Having created her school in 2008, Wendy began her career as a professional performer as a teenager appearing on BBC's A Song for Europe as a singer/dancer in a 6 piece vocal harmony group. Later with two young children, Wendy was first attracted to Stagecoach by the great emphasis it puts on building children's confidence and boosting their self-esteem. Wendy came to Stagecoach with an extensive background in performing, teaching, and directing. Trained as a singer, dancer and actress, she has appeared in many TV programmes in small roles including a 1990s episode of Dr Who, The Darling Buds of May and a number of children's shows. She has also performed as a singer/dancer in cabaret and in function bands, as well as producing many children's drama productions. As well as being Principal, Wendy is also a speech & drama teacher and an examiner. After 14 years of running Stagecoach she says, "I still love coming to Stagecoach every week. it is wonderful to see our students grow in confidence and life skills, and it is a joy and privilege to be part of their Stagecoach journey"
