We are registered with Ofsted, which means we can accept Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare for all our classes and holiday workshops. Events

We love getting involved in local events and giving students the opportunity to perform outside of Stagecoach. Our Further Stages students teamed up with 8 other Stagecoach schools in November and captivated the audience with their interpretation of a kaleidoscope.

"Just wanted to say thank you again for everything over the past 12 years and also for such a special send off. You have built an amazing school with a wonderful team. Stagecoach has been such a huge part of our weekends for so long….it ending for D marks a true passage of time. We will always look back fondly. I feel very emotional about it"

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Rebecca Manning

Rebecca's love of performing began at a young age when she aspired to be in "Legs & Co" - a dance group who had a regular weekly spot on BBC1's "Top of the Pops". Her road to the stage began by enrolling at a local dance school in Hampshire before continuing to train full-time at the Arts Educational Schools in London. Upon graduating, Rebecca travelled the world performing as a professional dancer and choreographer and held the position of Dance Captain for numerous cruise lines and theatre productions. Rebecca retired from performing at the end of 2006 and now works as a freelance dance teacher and choreographer throughout the Sussex region.

Rebecca first came to Stagecoach as the Dance Teacher at Stagecoach Crawley in 2003. She has since taught both Dance and Early Stages for many different branches of Stagecoach and has only recently hung up her Early Stages Teaching hat in order to expand her own school.

Rebecca is now in her 13th year as Principal of Stagecoach Hove and has worked hard to build the school up to the vibrant and exciting place it is today. Following on from the success of the Sunday morning classes, a Friday after school branch was opened in January 2016. The expansion has recently continued with new Saturday morning classes in 2022.

Rebecca has a real passion for all aspects of the performing arts and only wishes Stagecoach had been around when she was younger!
