Stagecoach Hereford provides quality part-time training in singing, dancing and acting. As part of the UK's largest network of part-time performing arts schools for children, Stagecoach Hereford is more than just a stage school, theatre school or drama school. We are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills, building confidences and stretching imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes.
Jonathan Legg, the Principal, is an experienced actor, director and drama coach who has run many theatre companies and numerous Theatre-in-Education projects. As a working director, he directs a wide range of professional shows and, as a performer, he has appeared in everything from Shakespeare to stand-up comedy in London venues. An experienced radio performer and broadcaster, including five years as a BBC producer and presenter, Jonathan's voiced many adverts and radio trails. Jonathan is committed to the development of performing arts skills not only to release the potential of students as performers, but also as a means to boost confidence and communication skills for life.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Principal - Jonathan Legg - LLAM Cert Ed

Jonathan is an experienced actor, director and teacher who has run many theatre companies and has been involved in numerous Theatre-in-Education projects. He has a love of theatre history and a wide experience of performing, ranging from Shakespeare to stand-up comedy in London venues. He is also an experienced radio performer and broadcaster who spent 5 years as a BBC producer/presenter. Jonathan is committed not only to developing theatre skills to realise the potential of students as performers, but also as a means to boost overall communication skills and confidence for everyone, be they 4 or 94!
