Young Performer is the only national performing arts magazine for young people. Inspired by Stagecoach and published by Ten Alps Creative, the magazine is designed to appeal to those young people for whom acting, singing and dancing is a passion. With six issues a year, the focus is to entertain, inform and educate through articles, celebrity interviews, news stories, quizzes and competitions.
This magazine features practical tips on how to improve your performance skills in all areas of the performing arts, from dance to TV acting to musical theatre. Catch a rising star
Rising young star George MacKay who's just finished filming the lead in "Private Peaceful", written by "War Horse" author Michael Morpurgo", tells "Young Performer" about his current film "Hunky Dory". Set in the 1970's and produced by Jon Finn ["Billy Elliot"], George explains what it was like to portray a teenager at that time, speaks about having his first screen kiss, his experiences on set and gives some good advice to young film actors.
What We Do
Stagecoach Theatre Arts has been nurturing and developing young people's potential for almost 25 years.
Early Stages is designed to introduce young children aged 4-6 years to Stagecoach.
Designed specifically for teens 15/16+ years, Further Stages further develops musical theatre skills through more advanced dance, singing and acting training.
The Stagecoach Teacher Training Course is an energising, inspiring and enriching course for those who wish to learn more about the teaching of performing arts
