How do I apply?
Fill out the online application form or print out application form and return to us in the post along with deposit payment of £100 (Stagecoach Teaching Preparation Course) or £50 (Stagecoach Fast Track Teaching Diploma Preparation Course).

At Stagecoach Head Office in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, KT12 1LZ
Is accommodation available?
An address list of approved local bed and breakfast accommodation is provided on request.
Who is eligible to attend the Course?
Anyone from 18 years upwards.
Reminder
The Stagecoach Teaching Diploma Preparation Course is delivered in two five day slots, leaving the middle weekend free.
What happens after I have paid my deposit and made a booking?
Stagecoach will send you a confirmation letter in the post or via email.
Is the course academic?
Not in the formal sense. It is largely practical in nature, with emphasis on workshops, tutor-led lectures, discussions, teaching observation and creative musical theatre sessions. You will be required to draw up written lesson plans, collate a portfolio and take part in a viva voce (discussion) with the examiner.
Is previous teaching experience a requirement?
No, not necessarily to pass Unit One. However if you have not taught before, Stagecoach requires you to gain 20 hours of teaching experience before you sit the final Diploma examination. (For further advice ring the Education department at Stagecoach on 01932 256 245.)
What is included in the price?

Do I need to bring anything with me?
Writing materials and comfortable clothing.
When do the examinations take place?
For unit one on the 2 week course, examination will be within the last 2 days of the course and is arranged by Stagecoach. For Unit 2 / Fast Track the examination has to be arranged with PPA. To sit the exam, candidates must register with PPA. You can register online at www.
What support will I receive during the course?
Maximum support from course leader throughout the course with regular tutorials.
How many students per course?
Maximum of 12 students.
