Founded in 1988 with three schools in Surrey, England, Stagecoach now has more than 700 schools worldwide. In all, Stagecoach trains more than forty thousand students at any one time and is the world’s largest part-time theatre arts school. Indeed Hermione Grainger (or Emma Watson) from the ever-popular “Harry Potter” fame trained with Stagecoach in Oxford in the UK.
Stagecoach Theatre Arts Schools, Perth Central are based at:
- Guildford Grammar Preparatory School, Great Eastern Highway, Guildford, WA 6055
- The University of Western Australia, Stirling Highway, Crawley, WA 6009
- Edith Cowan University, Joondalup Drive, Joondalup, WA 6027
It’s all about drama, dance and singing, in one place, at one time in a down to earth training environment. Stagecoach is dedicated to providing quality education in the performing arts, which is complementary to, yet independent of, normal academic studies. Stagecoach students benefit from the development of their confidence, communication skills and other useful “skills for life” through drama, dance and singing in a fun and creative environment.
Stagecoach training is offered to children and teenagers aged 4 to 16 +. Students work in age groups and follow the format developed by its founder. There are no auditions to join Stagecoach – enthusiasm is all that’s required!!
So stretch your child’s imagination in three directions at once and contact Stagecoach today!!
