Caroline Obelensky - Stagecoach Lewes
Stagecoach Lewes is a brand new theatre arts school opening on the 1st of May 2010 at Ringmer Community College just outside of Lewes, East Sussex. The school is run by Caroline Obolensky with the assistance of her actor husband Marcus Hutton. Caroline is a former Redcoat, flautist, actress and theatrical agent and is very much looking forward to this exciting new departure in her life.

Stagecoach Lewes will offer a creative and rewarding experience for all of its students.

They are recruiting experienced staff and the emphasis will be very much on personal development as well as on bringing out and developing whatever talents their students have. Beyond the Saturday classes, they will be offering theatre trips and holiday workshops. They will also be inviting external established professionals from all areas of the theatre to run workshops and to introduce their students to new skills.

The Main School will run for 3 hours on Saturday mornings for children aged 6 to 18, and the Early Stages class, which is for children aged 4 to 6, lasts an hour and a half. Stagecoach Lewes will be running from the fantastic new sixth form building at Ringmer Community College which has a wonderful new dance studio with a sprung floor and excellent spaces for singing and acting classes.

There is an open meeting, where you can meet Caroline and the teachers, on Wednesday 28th April 2010 at 6pm at Ringmer Community College, Lewes Rd, Ringmer, BN8 5RB.
