Summer Term 2010
STRICTLY COME DANCING CHOREOGRAPHERS CAME TO STAGECOACH
Chris Marques and Jaclyn Spencer visted Stagecoach Bury St Edmunds to conduct a workshop for the children.
The term ended for the Main School with a Strictly Come Dancing Theame and Early Stages performed their very own take on Joseph.

Stagecoach Students
Josh Rolfe has appeared at Norwich in Quadrophenia. He played Little Jimmy in a musical adaptation performed at the Theatre Royal, Norwich. While it stays true to the original concept - the focus is still on the trials and tribulations of troubled Mod Jimmy - on stage four different actors are used to represent the different aspects of Jimmy's split personality: the romantic, the tough guy, the lunatic and the hypocrite. Josh had to be on stage 4 times in all to represent “Little Jimmy”.
Dylan Drummond has just finished the filming for the TV production of “Marple”. He had to play a young boy with learning difficulties. Dylan filmed for one day with the cast and he said “ it was great fun! But really strange playing a really difficult character”.
Congratulations to those who auditioned with Oceansky pictures for their forthcoming film "Belly of the Wolf". 5 students will be filming later in the year. Well Done.
Many students from Bury St Edmunds are currently filming with Mediacam, at various locations around East Anglia.

Other Events
Students are also able to participate in a variety of events both locally and nationally. Recent examples include the Stagecoach "Sing a Single" at the Royal Albert Hall and the "Queens Golden Jubilee Celebrations". The students from Bury St Edmunds schools take part in the "Sounds of Christmas Concert" the "Bury Fringe Festival" and the " St Johns Street Fair" which all happen annually. Stagecoach Bury St Edmunds took part in the 1940's event at Rougham Airfield. 80 Stagecoachers from Bury took part in the FRINGE FESTIVAL, where they performed HITS OF THE BLITZ. This was shown to over 300 people and raised over £680.00 for charity.

SUMMER SCHOOL
We hold a Summer School each year with over 120 children attending.
