AN INTRODUCTION TO STAGECOACH
This is Stagecoach! Down-to-earth quality training for four to eighteen year-olds in the disciplines of dance, drama and singing in a very safe and happy environment. The skills learnt by our Stagecoach students don't disappear when the curtain falls - they are skills for life.

Stagecoach Coulsdon runs at Woodcote High School with Main Schools and Early Stages running on both Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Students attend from Coulsdon, Purley, Kenley, Croydon, South Croydon, Sanderstead, Banstead, Caterham and Wallington. There is parking available within the school grounds.
Classes run as 3 hour workshops once a week running over 3 terms. At the end of 2 of these terms parents and friends can attend a presentation or demonstration of classwork. This term, as well as ending in a demonstration, we have several "Workshop" classes to give students new skills. These are to be confirmed but will hopefully include mime and stage combat! We also have a theatre trip to see Legally Blonde and some students will be performing carols in Croydon's Whitgift Centre!
As well as classes in Singing, Dance and Drama children get the opportunity to enter LAMDA exams, go on Theatre Trips, audition for large scale productions and dance troupes and for those wishing to work professionally there is the Stagecoach Agency.

Recent independent inspections by Harding Associates found Coulsdon Stagecoach Saturday morning to be "A happy, lively school", "The 3 disciplies are well taught through well planned and structured activities. The Principal has employed professional staff to teach eager, enthusiastic and excited students". Whilst Friday Evening "Staff work very hard to deliver high quality lessons and share their passion for music, dance and drama". "students are very well cared for". Early Stages - "Very welcoming atmosphere", "high standards in all areas".
Stagecoach Coulsdon is run by Zoe McCready who trained at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom graduating with ISTD teaching qualifications (with distinction), ISTD Advanced Ballet, Modern and National, LAMDA Acting Gold Medal (Hons.) and RSA Certificates.
Zoe is assisted by her husband Glen, who trained at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy and between them they have performed in the West End, No.1 UK Tours, TV and Radio, Pantomimes, Summer Seasons and Luxury Cruise Ships.
All our teachers are professionally trained and have experience performing in their specialist field. Many are still working professionally and bring the latest techniques and styles to the schools.
