Darlington

Stagecoach Darlington works out of the fine facilities of The Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College on Vane Terrace, near the centre of town, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. However, on Thursdays we also have a presence in the brand new St George's Primary School, Middleton St George. Our sister schools in Yarm operate out of the excellent facilities of Teesside High School, in Eaglescliffe.



In Yarm and Darlington, we cater for a wide range of students, from rising four-year-olds to 18+ years. We have 10 Early Stages classes (for 4 to 7 year olds) spread across 7 Main schools (for 6 to 16 year olds) with an additional 2 Further Stages classes (for 15+ years). We also now have the very first ALL BOYS DANCE class in the Stagecoach network.

We offer optional LAMDA exams in Speech and Drama every year, where parents cover the cost of the examinations. In addition, every Main School sits Trinity College, London exams in Group Musical Theatre every two years, where the exam fees are covered by Stagecoach. Our results show a 98+% overall pass rate with 87+% gaining higher level gradings.



We train a regional entertainment troupe called STARE. The best students from our Stage 3 groups in the Yarm and Darlington schools are chosen to sing and dance in aid of charity. If the event is not for a charity then we ask for a charity donation. Please ring 01325 337667, if interested in hiring STARE to perform.
