Principal - Amy Mullen - BA (hons) Dance

Amy graduated with a BA (Hons) in Dance from Telford College, Edinburgh. She has participated in dance shows (MTV) and TV adverts/commercials, as well as teaching dance and personal training in London and locations throughout the Highlands. She has extensive experience teaching a variety of dance styles, such as street dance, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary and Musical Theatre. Amy has a strong passion for the performing arts and passing it on to others. She explains why Stagecoach has opened many doors to youngsters in the Highlands, 'It's not just about children wanting to be the next best film star or be in a pop group, it's about children being positive and having the confidence that reflects in their every day life. Stagecoach develops the imagination of children and lets them freely express themselves'. Amy won an Award for up and coming youngster for MFR in 2008 and won North of Scotland 'That's Entertainment' at Festival4Stars in 2008. She was also dance choreographer for this years Strictly Come Dancing Inverness which was a huge success and raised 35,000 for the Highland hospice. Amy's focus alongside Stagecoach training is to get the children involved in many local charity and performance events.
