Building confidence through singing, acting and dance classes
Stagecoach Theatre Arts has been nurturing and developing young people's potential for almost 25 years. As the longest running and most successful children's performing arts schools network in the world Stagecoach now have over 700 schools worldwide and more than 40,000 students.

Stagecoach caters for the needs of young performers - whether they are budding talents or reserved and shy. Because we concentrate on class work in singing, dance and drama and spend less time rehearsing for end of term presentations every child has their chance to shine, to learn and to develop. Like some other dance schools our dance classes concentrate on modern jazz dance but because we pride ourselves on building confidence each child develops at their own pace with the support of the group. Singing lessons can be daunting for shy children which is why we use a mixture of musical theatre and contemporary songs as well as vocal exercises. This combination builds confidence slowly and by the end of term every child will have had the opportunity to sing solo without any pressure. Drama is an excellent outlet for a child's imagination and our drama classes boost self esteem and encourage teamwork. Our dance classes build strength and co-ordination and are a fun way to get great exercise.

Stagecoach has provided a springboard for some of the UK's leading young talent and had the privilege of watching thousands of children grow in confidence and ability. At Stagecoach we are committed to helping children develop in all these areas of the performing arts while at the same time introducing them to a range of musical genres and skills in a friendly, safe and fun environment. Often copied, but never equalled, Stagecoach has remained the market leader for children's performing arts, reaching beyond the scope of normal after-school clubs.

Stagecoach Classes - 6 to 18 years
We offer singing, drama and dancing lessons all in one place over a three hour time slot. Every student aged 6-18 years participates in drama, dance and singing classes and each three hour session for 6-18 year old is split into three 1-hour classes, where young people learn each skill in small class sizes of similar ages. It's creative, fun and energetic!

Early Stages - 4 to 6 years
Children aged 4-6 years are introduced to Stagecoach through Early Stages classes which run for a shorter period of 90 minutes, split into three 30 minute sessions in dance, drama and singing. As we keep class sizes small (15 maximum) we are able to nurture young raw talent alongside encouraging and inspiring those whose confidence needs building.
