Principal - Julie Faulkner - BA(hons)
Julie's interest in the theatre began as a child when she joined a local youth musical theatre group. She began singing lessons with a local teacher then went on to study at The University of Wolverhampton on a combined Music & Drama degree course, choosing to specialise in Music as a singer after her first year taking vocal lessons with Barbara Maguire.
She was an inaugural member of the Wolverhampton University Chamber choir led by leading music educationalist Kevin Stannard and successfully auditioned for the City Of Birmingham Choir singing in concerts with them at Symphony Hall with internationally renowned soloists including Lesley Garrett.
In 2003 Julie helped husband Craig, to set up the Stagecoach Theatre School in Macclesfield with the Congleton school opening two years later. She took over the schools as Principal in 2010 and is dellighted to be building on the strong foundations laid.
Dance Coach - Anneli Pearce - BBO Dip.DT
Anneli has been dancing for over 20 years and trained in tap, ballet, jazz, street jazz, theatre arts and many more genres. She is an experienced teacher who has gained numerous dance and teaching qualifications with the British Ballet Organization, London. She has also trained professional dancers and teachers in new styles and has also choreographed several shows, including a Robbie Williams tribute theatre show.
Singing Coach - Susan Hayes - BMus PGDip
Susan is a singer/songwriter who trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where she appeared in several of their opera productions as well as a soloist for local choral societies. She now performs her own music in the folk genre.
Susan is an experienced vocal coach and teaches pop, musical theatre, classical and jazz, both privately and in schools. She has completed the Estill Voice Training Levels 1 & 2 and has recently embarked on the pathway to become a Certified Master Teacher. She teaches students how to use their voice safely as well as specialising in presentation skills.
Drama Coach - Jane Woolnough - BA (Hons) PGDip
Jane began her theatre training locally at South Cheshire College and Staffordshire Univesity before studying for a Post Graduate Diploma in Acting at Liverpool Institue for Performing Arts where she is currently completing her Masters. Jane has performed at the Buxton Festival Fringe both in new and devised works and for Etruria Cafe Theatre as well as a street theatre artiste at Alton Towers.
Jane's experience as a teacher includes running a series of arts workshops for a local primary school and leading a group of young people to create a short film for an arts charity. She also worked for three years as a Stagecoach Early Stages teacher and a deputy Drama teacher. Jane aims in her drama classes to help the students to develop a range of performance and theatre skills as well as team work, communication skills and confidence.
Early Stages Coach - Natalie Blades
Natalie trained in drama and media performance at Salford University and The Actor's Studio in Manchester. After graduating she gained various theatre and television roles including Holby City, Emmerdale and Heartbeat and several roles with Hull Truck Theatre. She has also provided voice overs for radio commercials.
Following the birth of her two children Natalie began to specialise in teaching young children. Having successfully run her own mother and toddler pre-school Theatre Tots classes, she decided to further her training with a Foundation Degree in working with Children & Young People.
Natalie's Stagecoach classes are fun and designed to help to stimulate a child's imagination and creativity.
