Classes
Age 4-6 years
Our
Early Stages sessions are suitable for 4-6year olds and will introduce your child to drama classes, dance classes and singing classes in a 90 minute session, split into 30 minute classes. Click here for more information about our carefully structured
Early Stages programme.
Age 6-18 years
In the
Main Schools children and teens aged 6-18years, learn to sing, dance and act in a weekly three hour session. Children are split into three groups of similar ages and study each discipline for one hour in detail. They are taught to express themselves creatively and effectively whilst learning at their own speed.
For children already doing drama in school, Stagecoach complements the skills learned by improving diction, concentration and improvisation technique. For those not already involved with drama in schools, our drama classes are perfect for building confidence, introducing role play techniques and memorising scripts. Our Principal
Julie's interest in the theatre began when she joined a local youth musical theatre group. She went on to study at The University of Wolverhampton on a combined Music & Drama degree course, choosing to specialise in Music as a singer after her first year.
She was an inaugural member of the Wolverhampton University Chamber Choir directed by leading music educationalist Kevin Stannard and sang with the City Of Birmingham Choir in concerts at Symphony Hall with internationally renowned soloists including Lesley Garrett.
In 2003 Julie helped husband Craig, to set up the Stagecoach Theatre School in Macclesfield with the Congleton school opening two years later. She took over the schools in 2010 and has built on the strong foundations laid over the past years.
Our Teachers
All drama lessons, dance classes and singing lessons are run by experienced, professional teachers with experience as choreographers, performers, directors or musicians. All Stagecoach teachers are CRB checked and have access to ongoing training. You can read more about our team
