Summer holidays won't be the same again....

Our Summer Workshop
ran from the 11th to 15th August and what a week it was.

This was the first time we have run a workshop in Braintree and it was a real success - 30 children enjoyed a week of singing, dancing and acting and the highlight was the production they created for the live audience on the Friday evening.

With ages ranging from 5 to 15 there really was something for everyone, games, fun, drama, singing and dancing.

Due to the success of this workshop we aim to run a couple of these next year - This is a great way for the children to have fun, whilst working on a theatre project. Details of next year's courses will be announced at Christmas - Watch this space... (and book early!)
This term we are planning a trip to see a stunning professional pantomime. Close to the end of term I am booking a block of tickets to go and see the pantomime at the Epsom Playhouse. Their pantomime production of the

* Wizard of Oz *

Promises to be a real smash hit show and a great day out for us.

Our Summer Workshop was a massive hit with children and parents alike - A week of dancing, singing and acting culminated in a fantastic workshop production of:

'A Wiz Round The West'

A stunning show, live on the stage at Braintree Arts Theatre. This production caused such a stir in town that the local paper rushed a reporter over to photograph and get the details - Keep your eyes open and wait for the article to come out - Stagecoach is becoming something of a feature in the local news!
Quality Training in a Safe Environment

Often copied but never equalled, Stagecoach offers quality training in the three performing arts disciplines: drama, dance and singing - helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and lots of fun. There is no need to find separate singing, acting and dance classes in Braintree, when Stagecoach offer all three to a high standard under one roof!

All our teachers are DBS (formerly CRB) checked so children and teenagers can work in a safe and protected environment. Fees work out at approx £9 per hour, which offers outstanding value for money for quality performing arts training, small class sizes, exams, medals, performances, magazine subscription, optional representation by The Stagecoach Agency which secures professional work for hundreds of children, and the many other extras that are offered by Stagecoach Braintree.
