Just One Cornetto
Ruth Mauriello was interviewed live on local radio Tower FM on Friday 15th June as a result of the 'Just One Cornetto' jingle ( Oh Sole Mio) being voted the number one favourite TV commercial jingle in a recent survey. Ruth was the Cornetto girl in one of the famous Cornetto ice cream commercials back in the 1980s and was invited on to the programme to talk about how she was cast in the advert and filming it in Venice. Presenters on the show suggested a Facebook campaign to relaunch the commercial !
